The Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Associate Attorney to join our team. This is a vital position within our established corporate structure, designed for a dedicated professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-standards environment.

We are seeking a proactive self-starter who will seamlessly integrate into our firm, strictly adhering to our structure of operational excellence. This is a role for an attorney ready to drive business from Day 1. You must possess the ability to deliver exceptional legal services while simultaneously generating new leads and expanding existing client relationships. The successful candidate will proactively identify unaddressed legal needs within the firm's clientele, effectively maximizing the value of every case while contributing directly to the firm’s bottom line.

Core Responsibilities

  • Legal Strategy & Client Management: You will lead the legal strategy for your assigned cases. You are responsible for communicating high-level legal concepts and outcomes to clients. Crucially, you will manage client relationships not just to resolve current issues, but to identify future opportunities for representation, maximizing the lifetime value of the client relationship.

  • Team Supervision: Direct and supervise the workflow of paralegals and legal assistants. You are responsible for quality control, ensuring that your team’s output is accurate, timely, and professional before it leaves the office.

  • Case Advocacy: Provide comprehensive legal representation in Immigration proceedings (including, but not limited to: Removal Defense, BIA, USCIS petitions, and Business Immigration). Additionally, not required, but highly encouraged to have the capacity to litigate matters in Family, Criminal, and Personal Injury law is regarded as a strategic asset; candidates possessing competency in these areas will be expected to leverage their experience to expand the firm’s service capabilities and maximize revenue generation.

  • Litigation & Negotiation: Appear before courts, administrative agencies, and tribunals; engage in sophisticated negotiations to secure favorable settlements.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: A strict minimum of 2 years of substantive experience in Immigration Law is required. Experience in Family Law, Criminal Defense, or Personal Injury is considered a distinct advantage.

  • Licensure: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Admission to any State Bar is required; admission to the Massachusetts Bar is highly preferred.

  • Languages: Fluency in English is required. Native or professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred.

  • Attributes: Extremely professional, disciplined, and detail-oriented with a high standard for excellence.

Compensation & Benefits

Samper Law offers a compensation structure designed to reward high performers without limitation.

  • Salary: Base salary commences at $86,000.00. However, for candidates with superior qualifications, extensive experience, or a proven track record, the final base salary is fluid and negotiable. We are prepared to offer a compensation package that accurately reflects the market value of a top-tier candidate.

  • Incentive Structure: We provide a robust, uncapped incentive scheme. Associates are directly rewarded for their productivity, lead generation, and contribution to the firm's revenue.
