Lidice D. Samper, Esq.
Founder & Managing Attorney
Lidice Samper, a Cuban-born attorney who emigrated to the United States at a young age and settled in Puerto Rico, founded Samper Law with a mission to provide exceptional, personalized legal services. Her own experiences, education, and professional background inspired her to create a firm dedicated to serving clients with exceptional, professional legal services, tailored to their individual needs.
From an early age, Attorney Samper felt a calling to the law. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and her Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law. During law school, she honed her skills through an internship with the Superior Court Division of the Essex District Attorney’s Office and by working with non-profit organizations like Casa Myrna and Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS), where she advocated for women and families who had experienced victimization.
Outside of her legal practice, Lidice enjoys reading, meditating, traveling, and cherishing quality time with her family and dogs.

Prarup Ghimire
Junior Associate Attorney

Prarup Ghimire is a dedicated Junior Associate Attorney, specializing in immigration law. Prarup joined Samper Law in 2025. Driven by a passion for advocacy, he guides clients through complex legal challenges with clarity and compassion.
Originally from Nepal, Prarup brings a unique perspective and a diverse legal background, including experience in insurance defense, to his practice. He earned his Juris Doctor from New England Law in 2023, following an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Bridgeport. Prarup's strategic and well-rounded approach to legal problem-solving ensures thorough and effective counsel for his clients.
Outside of his legal work, he enjoys sewing, design, running, and video games.

Constantine Hatzis
Junior Paralegal

Constantine Hatzis is a Junior Paralegal at Samper Law, bringing a diverse background to the legal field. A 2023 graduate of NYU with a Bachelor's in History and Philosophy, he also studied in Buenos Aires and worked as an English teacher in Japan.
In 2024, Constantine relocated to the US from Japan and joined Samper Law as a Legal Assistant, rapidly earning a promotion. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Greek, Constantine is passionate about law and plans to pursue law school. Originally from Athens, Greece, he now resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
Outside of work he enjoys cooking, practicing traditional Japanese archery (kyudo), and playing Pokémon competitively (VGC).
Gabriel Costa
Junior Case Manager

Gabriel Costa is a seasoned legal professional with over a decade of experience, currently serving as a Junior Case Manager at Samper Law. Since joining the firm in 2024 as a Legal Assistant, earning multiple promotions, Gabriel is known for his proactive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, he excels in building meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.
Gabriel holds advanced degrees and certifications from institutions including Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Harvard University. Gabriel is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. He brings a wealth of knowledge and is committed to clear and empathetic communication. His experience includes roles at Foley Hoag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as extensive legal practice in Brazil.
Outside of work, he enjoys meditation, photography, and visiting museums.

Portia Balfour
Legal Assistant

Portia Balfour brings a unique international perspective to Samper Law. A 2023 Bachelor of Laws graduate from Durham University (UK), Portia further enriched her legal education through an exchange at Luiss Guido Carli in Italy, focusing on Law, Digital Innovation, and Sustainability. Demonstrating her commitment to diverse legal frameworks, she earned a US Business Law certification from Columbia Law School in 2022.
Originally trained in England and Wales, Portia relocated to the US in 2024 and joined Samper Law as a Legal Assistant in 2025. Her background includes in-house paralegal experience at a digital transformation startup and extensive pro bono work in the UK.
Outside of the office, she enjoys playing the banjo and horseback riding.

Alisha Bernadin

Alisha Bernadin is an energetic and dedicated Legal Assistant at Samper Law, since 2025. Raised in Lynn, MA, she is a proud "Massachusettsan" with a diverse background; from the Dominican Republic, and from Haiti. Shaped by her education at KIPP and KALC, she values “ganas”/grit, and efficient work ethic. Alisha graduated from Champlain College in May 2023 with a B.S. in Game Art and Animation.
Her experience includes legal assistance at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, where she supported immigration services and managed office operations. She is skilled in client communication, case management, and administration. Alisha is an ambitious collaborator with client-facing experience, proficient in Microsoft and Adobe Suites, and fluent in Spanish and English.
Outside of the office, Alisha loves spending time with her loving husband and their two cats. A fun fact: she created the video game "That Potato Game," available on Steam.
Julia Cota

Julia Cota is the highly regarded receptionist at Samper Law, where she has provided exceptional client support since 2024. Known for her professionalism, responsiveness, and cordial demeanor, Julia consistently delivers outstanding customer service. She is exceptionally organized and handles delicate situations with care and respect.
A Massachusetts notary public, originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil, she now resides in Boston, MA. Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, she ensures clear and effective communication with all clients.
Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and loves traveling, camping, and exploring new places and cultures.
Andres Toledo

A graduate of Suffolk University with a degree in Law and Politics, Andres Toledo Vasquez brings both professional experience and a personal connection to his interest in immigration law. Born in Chelsea, MA, and proud of his Guatemalan roots, Andres is fluent in English and Spanish and deeply motivated to support his community.
Andres is currently working as a Receptionist at Samper Law. His resume includes experience in previous immigration law firms, where he managed client intake and provided bilingual communication, as well as supported client services and case management. Andres is eager to apply his skills and dedication and exceed professional career.
Outside of work he enjoys skateboarding, gaming and Liverpool football.
Gerardo Kloss

Gerardo Kloss is a results-driven Finance & Operations Officer, with a proven track record of driving financial growth and operational excellence. At Samper Law since 2024, he leverages expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and risk mitigation to optimize resources and implement cost-effective solutions.
His career spans diverse sectors, including multinational corporate banking and sustainability sectors, with notable experience at HSBC and Bank of America. Gerardo holds an MBA in International Business and a BBA in Sports Management Industries, with a Minor in History. A dedicated leader and community advocate, Gerardo prioritizes ethical practices and fostering inclusive teams.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, sports, and culinary experiences.
